
Hunter Cop Charged in Explosive Data Breach Probe
A senior police officer in NSWβs north is facing court after allegedly accessing and distributing restricted police data in whatβs shaping up to be a serious internal breach. The 47-year-old sergeant, attached to a Northern Region command, was issued a Court Attendance Notice on Monday following a months-long investigation into claims he unlawfully accessed sensitive information on the police computer system.
