
Hunter woman sexually assaulted and left locked in a bedroom
A man and woman will face court today after allegedly holding a woman against her will and assaulting her in the Hunter last week. About 3pm last Tuesday (14 April 2020), officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District attended a home on Capper Street, Telarah, following reports for a concern for welfare. Upon arrival, police located a 28-year-old woman locked in a room suffering multiple injuries to her face and chest. She was taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
