A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Kurri Kurri, Hunter Valley on March 7th, 2023.
The accident happened around 12:55 pm at the intersection of Stanford and Deakin Streets, involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Despite immediate intervention by NSW Ambulance paramedics, the male motorcyclist, who is thought to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, a 27-year-old male, was taken to John Hunter Hospital for medical attention and mandatory testing.
Specialist police from Hunter Valley Police District have cordoned off the area, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.
