The Lake Macquarie Police District has launched a public appeal for assistance following a spate of deliberate vandalism incidents at Green Point Reserve, Belmont, in recent weeks.







Throughout May, unregistered trail bikes have wreaked havoc, causing extensive damage to the cherished turfed areas within the reserve. Compounded by adverse weather conditions, the cost of repairs, to be borne by Lake Macquarie City Council and consequently ratepayers, has escalated significantly.
Authorities are urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward and assist in identifying the perpetrator/s.
