News Update: Head-On Crash on Segenhoe Road
This afternoon at 3:28 pm, emergency services responded to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving persons trapped on Segenhoe Road. Pumper 208, along with the NSW Police Force, NSW Ambulance, and NSW Rural Fire Service – Hunter Valley, arrived at the scene to find a head-on collision between two vehicles.
One vehicle remained at the point of impact, while the other was propelled across the road into a pole with such force that its rear differential was torn out. Fortunately, the occupants sustained only minor injuries and were lucky to escape more serious harm.
Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution and reduce speed during wet weather conditions to ensure road safety.
