The Maitland Motorcycle Club has been left in ruins after alleged thieves broke in and torched the canteen and office overnight.
a spokesperson for the club had this to say online.
“PLEASE SHARE
In the early hours of Thursday Morning (Jan 5th) our wonderful community club at Maitland MX was broken into and subsequently a fire broke out. We have completely lost our canteen and sign on building, with damage also occurring to surrounding storage rooms. We are a small community club that relies on our community to run, it’s at this time that we need you all more than ever. If anyone has any information on who is responsible please contact the Club or Maitland Police.
We will rebuild our canteen and sign on areas and we will need your help. We will reach out via social media once we have an idea of everything we will need including people power and would be very appreciative of any help that can be given.”
