
Maitlands Mayor Penfold announces a new road to Oakhamton Heights
Mayor Philp Penfold has announced a new road to improve access to Oakhamton Heights which will be less prone to flooding. The new road would be 8.8 meters high and the last time a flood reached that level was back in 2007. The road will supercede the existing plans to raise Scobbies lane. Mayor Penfold made the announcement on his Facebook page earlier this afternoon. Council will build a new road to create the improved access to Oakhampton Heights.
