Newcastle City Police stopped what they believed to a be suspicious looking vehicle in Hamilton South on Saturday 17th of December.
Police excuted a search of the vehicle and seized over 50 grams of methylamphetamine, cannabis and cocaine from the vehicle. The estimated value of the seized drugs is over $30,000
A 22 year old male was arrested and charged with having custody of a knife in public place, possess and supply prohibited drug. The man was refused bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court later today.
