A man will appear in court today after allegedly choking a child in a domestic-related incident in the state’s Hunter region. About 2pm yesterday (Saturday 16 May 2020), a 27-year-old man was at a house in Rutherford, about 7km north-west of Maitland, when he allegedly became involved in an argument with a 44-year-old woman and became aggressive.
