A man has been charged in connection with a fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred in the Hunter region last month. The incident happened on Thursday, 4 April 2024, at around 12:05 pm on the New England Highway in Wingen, approximately 18km north of Scone. Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a collision involving a Toyota Landcruiser towing a caravan, a Volvo truck, and an Isuzu truck.
