More than 80 Arrested in Newcastle Police Operation

In a major police operation today in Newcastle, over 80 individuals have been apprehended. The authorized assembly in the Port of Newcastle, as outlined in the Form 1, concluded at 4 pm (Sunday, 26 November 2023). Court allegations state that despite explicit warnings from the police after the expiration of the authorized assembly, a group of protesters deliberately entered the harbour channel.
