The owners of the vineyard are devastated by the overnight blaze that engulfed their winery, causing significant damage to the property. Shocking new photos show the devastation of the blaze, with charred ruins and debris scattered throughout the area.
The blaze at Tamburlaine Winery on McDonalds Rd in Pokolbin, located in the Cessnock Local Government Area, was first reported at approximately 9:30 pm local time on the night of March 24th, 2023.
Firefighters from both the NSWRFS and FRNSW have been battling the blaze throughout the night, working hard to control the flames and prevent further damage to the property. Although the fire has been contained to the function area, the owners are left to assess the extent of the damage and begin the daunting task of rebuilding.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and investigations are underway to determine the source of the blaze. As the situation remains ongoing, the owners of the Tamburlaine Winery are grateful for the support of the firefighting teams and the local community during this challenging time
