Work will progress southward towards the existing crossing near Cooks Hill Surf Club, which will be replaced with a raised yellow shared path crossing to improve safety and accessibility.
To support this, the existing path between the crossing and Bar Beach Avenue will be rebuilt and widened, offering more space and comfort for pedestrians and cyclists alike.
