Emergency services were called to Lovedale Road, Lovedale, at 3:44am following reports of a single-vehicle crash with a person trapped. The vehicle had left the roadway, trapping the sole occupant by compression. Crews immediately stabilised the vehicle and provided fire protection, as no fire appliances were on scene upon arrival. Rescuers removed the windscreen, fitted an airbag restraint, and used chains and a large spreader to relocate the dashboard.
