A tragic accident has occurred on the North Coast of the state resulting in the death of three people. The incident happened last night at around 9.30pm (Saturday 11 March 2023) on Kangaroo Creek Road, Coutts Crossing, which is about 30km south of Grafton. According to reports, a twin cab utility vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree, resulting in the deaths of the driver, a 43-year-old man, and two passengers, a 14-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old girl.
Upon receiving the report, emergency services rushed to the scene but unfortunately, the victims had already passed away. The police have established a crime scene and have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. It is currently unclear what caused the vehicle to leave the road.
The tragedy has sent shockwaves across the community, and the police have requested anyone with information relating to the crash to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
