NSW LABOR TO ABOLISH HIDDEN SPEED CAMERAS

Newly elected opposition leader Chris Minns says that Labor will abolish hidden speed cameras brought in by the Berejiklian government earlier this year if Labor is elected at the next election.

Road safety should be our priority, not revenue raising. That’s why we’ve committed to bringing back speed camera warning signs.

Chris Minns

the NSW Liberal Government has led an assault on speeding drivers and as a result, revenue has skyrocketed since the removal of warning signs on mobile speed cameras, unfortunately we have not seen a reduction in the road toll or traffic incidents.

Spending money on road safety and maintaining roads is the best way to save lives on the road, unfortunately many roads throughout are in an awful condition.
