A suspended driver has been found passed out in the driver’s seat in the middle of High Street, East Maitland.
Emergency services were called by a concerned citizen that a driver may of suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel.
Upon arrival officers were able to wake the young driver and perform a roadside breath test.
The 19-year-old man returned a positive test and was taken to the Maitland Police Station where he was charged with drink driving offenses and driving on a suspended license.
