Emergency services responded to the incident earlier today, causing significant traffic disruptions in both directions. CareFlight was called to the scene, with the helicopter landing nearby to transport the injured pedestrian.
One westbound lane on Wyong Road remains closed, and eastbound traffic continues to be affected as crash investigators examine the site. Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider alternative routes.
