An investigation is underway to identify the driver of a car that fled after crashing into a home in Lake Macquarie this morning. About 4.15am (Wednesday 2 June 2021), emergency services were called to Kilaben Road, Kilaben Bay, after a white Land Rover Evoque had left the road way before colliding with a metal pole and the front of a home. Police have been told a male driver was seen in the vehicle before he fled the scene on foot.
