A serving police officer has been charged with domestic violence related offences. About 2.30pm (Sunday 5 February 2023), officers attached to Northern Region commenced an investigation into reports of an allegedly domestic-related incident between a man and woman in Singleton yesterday (Saturday 4 February 2023). Following inquiries, a 32-year-old probationary constable – attached to a command in the Northern Region – was arrested and issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for common assault (DV).
