Summer Fleming Dead: Partner Jethro Gamueda Charged with Murder in Rutherford
A 20-year-old woman, Summer Fleming, has died after an alleged domestic assault at her Rutherford home early Monday morning. Her 31-year-old partner, Jethro Gamueda, was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
Emergency services found Fleming unresponsive with serious facial injuries at around 4:45 am on Unicomb Close. Despite paramedics’ efforts, she could not be revived.
The couple had been in a domestic relationship for about a year, with no prior reports of domestic violence, police say. Gamueda was refused bail and is due to appear before Local Court tomorrow.
Authorities are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
