Power Outage Update – Cessnock Area
A power outage is currently affecting parts of Cessnock, Lovedale, Neath, Nulkaba, and Sawyers Gully this morning.
The outage was first reported at 6:05am, with electricity provider Ausgrid confirming crews are investigating the cause.
The outage is currently classified as minor (0–4 hours) based on customer reports, with an estimated restoration time of 9:30am today (Saturday, March 14).
Residents are urged to report any faults, electrical emergencies, or fallen power lines immediately by calling 13 13 88.
Hazards such as damaged or fallen wires can also be reported via the Ausgrid website.
