Marine Wildlife Rescue Central Coast has confirmed that a familiar flippered friend has made another appearance on the Central Coast.
Volunteers were alerted to a seal haul-out at Tascott this afternoon and, upon arrival, identified the visitor as Sammy—a well-known local who frequently lounges around Saratoga, Davistown, and even the East Gosford mangroves.
Sammy is in good health, with no injuries or entanglements, but wildlife rescuers remind the public to give him plenty of space. If you spot him, keep at least 40 meters away and let him rest undisturbed.
