Shocking: Man and woman charged in gruesome Newcastle stabbing incident

A man and woman have been charged following an investigation into an alleged stabbing at Newcastle earlier this year. About 3.35am on Thursday 19 January 2023, emergency services were called to Devonshire Street, Newcastle West, where they found two men suffering stab wounds. NSW Ambulance paramedics rendered assistance to the men, aged 25 and 28, before they were transported to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment. Officers attached to Newcastle City Police District established a crime scene, which was forensically examined by specialist police.
