At the heart of this haunted maze lies the poignant story of Michael, a 33-year-old father of three. Michael’s life took a dramatic turn when, at the tender age of 17, he was diagnosed with diabetes. In 2021, a series of health complications began, with his eyes hemorrhaging and leading to open heart surgery due to a tooth infection his body couldn’t fight off. Six months later, he faced kidney failure, marking the beginning of an arduous battle for survival.
Despite the challenges, Michael remains determined to fight each day, driven by the hope of a kidney transplant that could restore some semblance of a normal life for him and his children.
