TGA HEALTH ALERT: MEN SHOULD IMMEDIATELY STOP USING PANTHER POWER PLATINUM 1100

The TGA is advising men they should immediately stop using Panther Power Platinum Immediately due to safety concerns of an undisclosed ingredient.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested a product labelled Panther Power Platinum 11000 capsules and found that:

• The undeclared substance sildenafil is contained in the capsules.
• Sildenafil may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease are often prescribed nitrates.

Consumers are advised that sildenafil is a Schedule 4 (prescription only medicine) that is included in the current Poisons Standard.

• Stop using Panther Power Platinum 11000 capsules and take any remaining products to your local pharmacy for safe disposal (link is external).
