Three juveniles are scheduled to face charges in children’s court today following a dramatic police pursuit involving a stolen car in Newcastle. Yesterday, officers from the Newcastle City Police District responded to multiple reports of a sedan being driven recklessly in the Wallsend area. Around 5 p.m., police attempted to stop the vehicle on Douglas Street, Waratah, but the driver allegedly refused to comply, leading to a pursuit.
