A man is in custody after a violent incident in Sydney’s south-west left two people dead and another fighting for life early Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to a home on Juliet Close in Rosemeadow about 1.30am on 3 May 2026, following reports multiple people had been assaulted by a man known to them.
Officers from NSW Police Force arrived to find a 64-year-old man suffering severe head injuries, along with the bodies of a woman and a younger man inside the property.
While formal identification is yet to be completed, police believe the deceased are a woman in her 60s and a man aged in his 20s.
The घायल 64-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics from NSW Ambulance and remains in a critical condition.
About an hour later, around 2.30am, a silver sedan arrived at the location. Police arrested the 32-year-old male driver, who was taken to Campbelltown Police Station as investigations began.
A crime scene has been established, with detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command working alongside the State Crime Command Homicide Squad to determine the circumstances surrounding the घटना.
Authorities have confirmed a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
