Two people are missing from south coast fire zones, 1 person is missing near the Victorian boarder town of Bombala.

At least sixty homes were destroyed in Saturday’s blazes, taking to 576 the number lost since New Year’s Eve hundreds more are expected to be gone as teams work through dangerous conditions to assess damage.

130 fires continue to burn more rain is required to extinguish these huge blazes, rain has hampererd backburning operations whilst providing temporary relief. High dry conditions will return by the end of the week.
