A man has been charged following an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a woman outside a Newcastle hotel last month. About 11.50pm on Friday 25 November 2022, emergency services were called to a licensed premises on Darby Street, Newcastle, following reports a woman had been sexually assaulted by a man. A crime scene was established by officers attached to Newcastle City Police District and forensically examined.
