UPDATE – KERRY RIDGE
Crews continue to monitor fire progression into the areas of Widden, Baerami Creek and Martindale.
As fire reaches containment lines in open country, firefighters will work to extinguish active fire. Where conditions allow, backburning operations may also be undertaken to reduce fire intensity and secure fire edge as it moves into open country.

Priorities for today will continue to be on protecting life and property as required, along side identifying, establishing and strengthening containment lines to reduce further fire spread.

At time of writing, there is no immediate threat to properties in the area. However, residents and landholders should continue to watch for embers which may be blown well ahead of the main fire fronts.

COMMUNITY ADVICE
Residents and landholders in the vicinity of these firegrounds should continue to remain vigilant and monitor the situation closely.
