45 Additional sexual assault charges for Newcastle Man

A Newcastle man has been charged with an additional 45 sexual assault offences following an eight-month investigation. In March 2019, detectives attached to Newcastle City Police District commenced an investigation following reports of alleged sexual and indecent assaults occurring between 2005 and 2014. A 32-year-old man was arrested in August and charged with 10 offences, he remains before the courts on these matters. Following further inquiries, yesterday (Wednesday 20 November 2019) the same man was taken to Newcastle Police Station and arrested.
