A 21-year-old female has been caught driving disqualified for the 7th time in a number years. Police said they attempted to stop the vehicle on Douglas Street Wallsend last night. The vehicle failed to stop immediately and continued to drive slowly.
Whilst the vehicle continued to drive slowly police observed that driver and passenger switch places before stopping.
The female driver was arrested and taken to Waratah police station and charged again with driving whilst disqualified and refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court later today.
