A 36-year-old man is in police custody today following a violent attack on the streets of Mayfield last night.
It’s alleged that the 36-year-old man produced a knife and stabbed another man in the neck on Silsoe Street, near the intersection of Myola Street, in Mayfield.
The 50-year-old man was treated at the scene and taken to John Hunter Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
