Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into an assault on an elderly couple in the state’s Hunter Valley region yesterday. About 10pm (Sunday 26 January 2020), a man and woman – aged 84 and 86 – were putting rubbish in the bin outside their home on Guernsey Street, Scone, when an unknown woman began verbally abusing them from across the road.
