Police said they were investigating a stolen caravan when the man attacked them. Police have alleged that the man charged the officer then punched and kicked the officer. Police then had no choice but to taser and detain the man.
The man was taken back to the Toronto police station where he was assessed by NSW ambulance paramedics.
