Sadly you can’t make this up Newcastle Police identify man currently on bail in relation to a stolen security camera system.
When police catch up with this man at his residents they discover a stolen mountain bike. The man tells police an unknown person must put the bike in his house via a broken window at the property and has no idea how it got there.
The bike was seized by police and the 45-year-old man from Cooks Hills was arrested and charged with 3 offences
- Stealing
- Possession of suspected stolen goods
- Breach of bail.
He will face Newcastle court later today and with any luck will spend Christmas behind bars.
