A wanted man who taunted police on Facebook spent his last 20 minutes of being a free man hauled up in a bathroom at a Wallsend address.
On November 15th 2019 police posted a picture of the wanted man asking for assistance to help to locate the wanted man.
The wanted man responded to his wanted post treating that he would kill any officer attempting to arrest him.
“in the meantime looks like I’ll be up on murder charges cause I’ll kill the first officer that comes near me…”
Around 7pm Wednesday 11th of September Newcastle Domestic Violence team along with the dog squad had located the man and took him into custody without incident.
The man was charged with 9 additional offences along with existing charges for his warrant
- 5 new breaches of an AVO.
- Intentionally choke a person.
- Two counts of assault causing bodily harm.
- Malicious Damage
He was refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court today (12/12/2019).
