Wallsend Fire and Rescue, along with NSW Ambulance and Rescue & Bomb Disposal – NSW Police Force, rushed to Blue Gum Road in Jesmond on Tuesday 14th March 2023, following reports of a motor vehicle accident with persons trapped inside. The rescue operation was a race against time as crews worked to extract a female driver and male passenger who were confined inside the vehicle.
