Gavin was last seen on Greg Stairs Road, Gungal – about 50km west of Muswellbrook – at 10:30 am on Tuesday, 29 October 2024. His Toyota Camry, bearing QLD plates 859MHT, was later found abandoned on the same road, sparking fears for his safety.
The desperate search for 68-year-old Gavin Moresby-White has ramped up as a massive multi-agency operation continues in the Hunter Valley.
Family and police are gravely concerned as Gavin’s disappearance is out of character. He is described as Caucasian, 170 cm tall, with a medium build, and balding with white hair.
The search, which began on Monday, 18 November, has mobilized a powerhouse team, including local police, Police Rescue, PolAir, the Dog Unit, NSW Ambulance Rescue, and the NSW SES. Crews have been combing through the Gungal, Denman, and Merriwa areas, resuming efforts at 8:15 am today.
