Newcastle, NSW – Sid Fogg’s & Sons, a prominent luxury coach charter specialist established in 1957, has been acquired by Ritchies Transport Holdings Ltd., effective September 2, 2024. This acquisition marks the end of 63 years of family ownership for Sid Fogg’s & Sons, which has been managed by Graham and Kathy Habgood for the past 35 years.
Ritchies Transport Holdings Ltd., New Zealand’s largest privately-owned bus company, was founded in 1972 and boasts a fleet of approximately 1,600 vehicles. The acquisition includes Sid Fogg’s extensive fleet and operations across various sectors, including government contracts, school services, and long-distance charters.
Graham Fogg will continue to manage operations during the transition period to ensure continuity of service excellence. Both companies share a commitment to quality service and community values, which are expected to drive future growth under this new partnership.
