The NSW Government is set to commence essential maintenance work on Maitland Road, between David Street and Duffie Drive in Cessnock, aimed at enhancing safety for all road users.
When: The night works will take place from Tuesday, October 22, to Tuesday, October 29, between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM. The project is expected to be completed in five nights, weather permitting.
Traffic Changes: Motorists should be aware that traffic controllers and signage will be in place during the works. Lane closures will occur, and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be enforced. Drivers are advised to allow for extra travel time. Additionally, there will be detours for pedestrians and cyclists, with traffic controllers on-site to provide guidance.
