Man in Critical Condition After Workplace Accident in Mayfield

A man remains in critical condition following a workplace accident in Mayfield, Newcastle, yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the man, aged in his 50s, sustained serious injuries in a forklift incident on Kerr Street.

Emergency services, including police and NSW Ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. Paramedics treated the man for multiple injuries before transporting him to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
