A woman has died and a police search is underway for two children reportedly in the water in Sydney’s south west.
Emergency services were called to a boat ramp on Floyd Bay, off Hollywood Drive, Lansvale, shortly before 10.15am today (Saturday 19 October 2024), after a woman and two children were seen in the water in distress.
A short time later a woman was pulled from the water, however she was unable to be revived.

An extensive search is currently underway involving multiple agencies including Police, Marine Area Command, PolAir and SES for two children believed to be in the water.
