In an early morning operation, the Newcastle City Police arrested an 18-year-old male on Acacia Avenue, Waratah West, after he fled from the scene of a stolen motor vehicle. The police chased the suspect, who was eventually apprehended after a short pursuit. Suspect linked to break-ins Upon his arrest, a number of sets of car and house keys were found on the suspect.
