A hacker by the of Ryushi has released 200 million records of Twiter records, the data contains account name, handle, creation date, follower count, and even email address.
Ryushi attempted to extort Twitter into buying the data back for $200 million, but Twitter declined.
“Your best option to avoid paying $276 million USD in GDPR breach fines like Facebook did…is to buy this data exclusively,” Ryushi reportedly posted.
As result of non payment, the data is available for free on the dark web.
