A 74-year-old woman has passed away at John Hunter Hospital overnight, the woman contracted COVID-19 on-board the Ruby Princess
Health Minister Brad Hazzard informed the public of the tragic news earlier today during a press conference. He also said a 76-year-old man died in the Northern Beaches Hospital.
“When you lose a family member, it changes your life forever,” Mr Hazzard said.

“So to the families of those two people, we all express our very, very great sympathy and our thoughts are with you.”
The NSW death toll is 26 and the national tally is 61.
