A brazen armed robbery unfolded at Jewells Tavern this afternoon, with police launching a major search operation to track down the offender.
The incident occurred around 3 PM when a masked suspect entered the venue, shattered a glass, and held it to a bartender’s back while demanding the tills be emptied. The offender fled with cash from the registers before police arrived.
No staff members were injured during the terrifying ordeal. Police quickly responded and began scouring the area for the suspect, who remains on the run.
