The Australian GP has been cancelled at the last minute due to COVID-19 fears as one Mclaren team member tests positive. There was confusion this morning as overseas media we’re reporting the event had been cancelled, but F1 Officials had been silent.
The Victorian premiere came out and said the event had will go ahead with no crowds, but in reality some F1 teams had already been making plans to a abbandon on the event with half if the team’s voting to abandon the event.
F1 Officials were forced into the abandoning the event whilst thousands of fans waited at the gates to gain entry and than hours after the gates were meant to open the officials finally made the heartbreaking decision.
Up to 1200 Hundred workers are now in left in limbo and without work for the weekend.
