Body Believed to Be Missing Man Luke Smith Found in Swansea
A body, believed to be that of Luke Smith, who went missing at Swansea, has been located today.
Emergency services were called to Channel Street, Swansea, around 7:50 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024, following reports of multiple people in the water after a small boat overturned.
Three men were pulled from the water shortly after the incident, but 23-year-old Luke Smith remained unaccounted for.
A comprehensive multi-agency search for Smith has been ongoing since then.
Today, around 12:20 pm, emergency services were called to Swansea after reports of a body found in the channel.
While formal identification is yet to be made, it is believed to be Luke Smith.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
